Electrical connectors

Post by spidernut »

I can't find any info on where to get new electrical connectors - specifically the three wire connector to the throttle switch. The wiring insulation is brittle, part of the jacket is missing with wiring exposed and ready to break at any time.

I have the same issue with other connectors on the EFI system under the hood but don't see anything but the injector connectors on the vendor sites.

I think autoricambi sells these, maybe the other vendors too. They come with short wire sections and can be solder spliced in.

Vintage Connections sells "latching" type spade connectors. I've ordered from them before while redoing my wiring harness. They are identical to the original Fiat connectors, and will latch into plugs without having to splice wires together, which, in my opinion, doesn't look very nice. VC also sells some of the plastic blocks that these connectors latch into. Take a look at their site.
