see that piece where the wire connects inside the dizzy and then that wire connects down to the electronic thingy, i assume. i need that wire or that whole piece that goes in the dizzy. HOW does that come off? i see 2 screws and well now what ? is that called the pic up coil?

thanks i got it off, it was just stuck on the plate , i was not sure how it came off so now it simple. . now i can show u the wires, im thinking this is why there no spark

Yes the frayed wires in the pick up will cause intermittent and or total loss of spark.
I would try replacing the pick up assembly first. The control module does not need to be replaced every time the pick up is replaced. Also pay attention to the instructions that come with the new pick-up. The magnet has to be installed with blue line exactly as the instructions state.

when you buy the new pick up unit, it comes with a base. make sure you dont put the base on upside down. when you reinstall the ignition module in the heat sink, you need a good conductive paste for between the 2 parts (dielectric silicon?).

I always keep a spare magnetic p/u in my toolbag.Those wires are soo easy to fray and leave you dead in the water.I pull my cap every few months and check the condition of those wires.A simple trick is to twist the two wires together to shorten them slightly(for some reason the wires are always too long),then wrap them with electrical tape.
