I have an '81 and the PO put the bronze Fiat emblems on it. They wobble a bit and I wonder if they need some kind'a base gasket to seal water out and keep 'em from rattling?

For these badges, as well as boot hooks, I like to manufacture a gasket out of a quart empty motor oil container. Use white or black bottles depending upon exterior paint color.
