OEM style quick disconnects/terminals?

Are these the same type of terminals the factory used on our wiring?

Has anyone used these types when repairing their wiring and are they worth the price? I've been mainly using the kind of terminals you get at autozone,napa,etc. as I never see these kinds available, is there a reason? In the past months I've bought some new electrical tools: like an s&G Tool Aid ratcheting crimper and vice-grip automatic wire strippers, 40 watt weller soldering iron( improved in soldering, no more cold joints) as I got tired of using the cheap ones you get at the auto parts store and I have to say its been a good investment and would recemmend buying quality tools, makes working on these cars more enjoyable!

So, are these oem style "F" terminals worth it, I would have to buy a diffent crimper though but they do seem like better quality and stronger? What say you guys and gals, any experience with these kinds?

Hi,
I found that my 1979 2000 has AMP stamped on to the terminals of the 6 postion radio connector. I found this connector at Newark Electronics http://www.newark.com. The connector is AMP 480004-5, male pins 42460-2 and female pins are 42281-2. You can download the PDF on these and they have the locking tab used on many of the connectors on Fiats.

Thanks for the links guys, I knew classic ricambi had them but wasn't sure if you guys use the oem type or autoparts type. Or is it more a matter of preference to have original looking wiring.

I always liked those better than the aftermarket ones. I redid my whole wire harness on my Opel with them. I just used small players and soldered them for a perfect connection.
