That's no good. We missed having you there, but I am very thankful for your help over the course of last week. Hope you get to feeling better, and I'm sure I'll talk to you again this coming week.spiderrey wrote:sorry, guys, i got up at 6.30 am to load up and go. but all i ended up doing was blowing chunks and laying in bed all day. wish i was there. i always seem to miss the good stuff. nice job.
Got a LOT done, but still quite a bit left. The different configurations of the two engines threw us for a loop a couple of times. We went back and forth on whether to put it in the old configuration with the smog pump on the cam pulley, or to the new configuration with having to move the alternator wiring. Somehow we ended up with the cam towers for the new configuration and the pulleys for the old configuration, so there is a little backtracking to do there. So Cal Mark wrote:sorry I didn't make it back, what's left to do?
Steve, Can you (or anyone else) please explain the procedure for circulating oil through the engine after a fresh rebuild?seubanks wrote: I still need to clean out the engine bay, circulate oil through the engine (per Alvon's instructions), and install more pieces and parts.-- se
