Abarth had a fiberglass hood (saving weight). too light weight and flimsy to have a traditional hood release.

I mounted along the beam on the firewall for v6spider 1.0.. In the new version I eliminated the need for hood pins. BTW the stock hood latch is plenty to hold the hood down. It just needs to be properly adjusted and lubed.
