horn problem

hello all,

i have a 1980 fuel injected spider with a horn issue. sometimes the horn works great, is very sensitive and you can just touch the button and it will sound. other times you have to really push it hard to get it to sound. the relay works okay. i'm guessing there is a contact problem somewhere... has anyone had this problem, and know where to tell me to look?

Contacts on mine on the steering wheel were doing the same thing i pulled steering wheel off and cleaned contacts, While you do that you can ground the curcuit to see if it helped or the horn is being intermidiate since those horns also tend to fail. The horns do however have a adjustment screw on top of the horn which might help the horn work a bit better.
