Inoperable Gauges - 1984 Pininfarina Azzura

Re-working the interior I'd disconnected the 5 cluster gauges, replaced all the bulbs with new while I had it open, did not disconnect the speedo cable. Putting it all back, the odometer and tach gauges do not work. Checked all fuses found and can find nothing to indicate reason for problem. Best guess is something is loose, maybe a common ground. Did have battery disconnected. Any sugggestions will be greatly appreciated. Robert
