Switch wire colors

Post by dulcimerbob »

The wiring harness on my 76 has the colors as follows
black
red
pink/blue/bl
blue/blue/red
brown/brown
grey
green/black

It all seems normal except the blue/blue/red wire .I assume it goes to INT on the switch
Need some help here. Thanks

Oddly enough I just rewired the ignition switch on my '75 Spider. I replaced all the "faston" connectors. I used gold plated on some but could only find gold for the 16 guage wires. There are two wires crimped together on one faston connector. The two wires are blue and another blue wire with a red stripe. I connected these to the "INT" spade. I think that is what your question was, I hope this works for you. My car is running fine now. I read an earlier post that mentioned rebuilding the ignition switch, does anyone know where I can find a rebuild kit or procedure?
