What kink of fuse is this?

Atempting to figure out some wiring issues and had a short to ground and I thought I heard this pop. No continuity. Cant seem to find anything even resembling in my parts books or internet. Cant seem to post pic. It resembles a red stick. Any information would be appreciated. Thaks

The only thing I can think of is a fuseble link.

Probably one of the in-line fuses. Twist open the red case and see what's inside.

Mystery solved. Indeed an inline fuse. It was just really stuck. I was afraid of breaking it. Found 16amp fuse poped inside of it. Thanks for your reply.
