On a Fiat there are always two keys. Ignition and doors/trunk/glovebox.

Unfortunately the key types and cylinder sizes of the ignition versus all the others are notably different.

Understood, but my question was related not to the ignition but the other locks. I realize I won't get the ignition key to open doors or vice versa....however.....

Is anyone aware of a vendor or method to get the trunk, doors and glove box all rekeyed so I do only have two keys...right now I have two keys but the one for the trunk does not match the doors or glove box.

Thanks in advance!!

There's a matching set on Ebay right now. I've also got a complete set I'd sell (for a little less than the Ebay ones). Door tumblers, complete trunk and glove box locks. These are from a Spider 2000 - I'm not sure if the earlier 124's had different internal tumblers.

You can go to a real locksmith and he can make the exterior keys match by adjusting the tumblers. They are easily removed from the handles, you can bring them to them and they can make the changes then just reinstall them.

"Real Locksmith" getting hard to find. Ask around if you have a clasic car club or something similiar.
