Electrical Connector Source

The water temperature sending unit on my 81 Spider was installed by the previous owner's mechanic facing up in that tee fitting where it mounts. This makes the plastic connector interfere with the hood spring, which pulls it off when ever you open the hood. When I replace the timing belt I will turn that fitting around, but I need a new connector. Are these a special Fiat part or can I get them at any auto supply store?

they are a Bosch connector and many companies make replacements for them. Any parts store should carry them. If you get a BMW style connector they are much easier to remove due to a redesigned retainer. I have them available, but you should be able to get one locally
