Panhard Rod

Post by Jon »

I need to get a new panhard rod as soon as possible, I've checked around town (San Diego) at the different junk yards and can't even find a Fiat 124 (odd...). I've got a 78 Fiat 124, with the panhard rod that has a bend in it. Does anyone have a spare parts car of way I can get ahold a rod real quick? I can drive to wherever...

Thank you!

try Eladio in Vista. He posts here under the name FiatS2000. Email him at egvistaca@hotmail.com. He regularly visits all of the salvage yards in your area and he has lots of parts cars.

Mark, thanks for the suggestion!

I posted the whole story of how it happened under Jack's post "Car Sold" in Off Topic.

Hopefully I can get this taken care of today and have a road worthy car again!

I replied to the other post, but had another thought; the tow company has to be liable for the damaged panhard rod. You may have to take them to small claims though
