Good morning. I have two dist. that have the same issue. That is the bushing the pick-up plate sits on seems to be pooched. the pick-up tilts forward and contacts the lobes on the shaft and the car, well runs like poo. Is this a matter of getting a replacement bushing/bearing or does one have to make one or is the dist. now a paper weight?
Any thoughts would be great.

I had my dist rebuilt by Terry Terezakis. One of his options is to remove the vacuum advance capsule,which I had done.
