I just bought a 1980 2000, and would be interested in events. Chicago area.

Well, sold my 80 and bought an 84. Black, and pretty pristine (I think), tan leather interior and top. Drives beautiful - trans is tight, and brakes are great. Am having it reviewed now for issues and problems.

Hope we can get together this Summer for a road trip and stop at a Dog 'N Suds. If we come North to McHenry, can do a cook out on the deck with drinks in the evening.
