Some special Spider statistics

Post by rdv »

Hi at all
The winter time offers the opportunity to evaluate the data collection of the worldwide Spider Registry according to new findings.

1) Percentage distribution for the top 10 nations per type
It is understandable that most AS and BS1 Spiders can currently be found in Italy. On the other hand, the BS version built at the same time was increasingly exported to the USA, so that most BS Spiders are documented there. The Abarth Rally Version (CSA) was mainly sold in Italy. In addition to the versions that were only sold in the USA (CS0 2000 and CS2 2000 and partly CS1), the special series of the Limited Edition and the Turbo Spider can also be found mainly in the USA. The Volumex as the last special series was mainly built for the German market, so that the Volumex is mainly documented in Germany.

2) Top10 distribution in California and Top40 in the rest of the U.S.
Most Spiders, of course, can still be found in the US. California had the largest sales figures there, so that even today most US spiders are documented there. Therefore, there is a Top10 statistic for the Californian territories as well as a separate statistic for the Top40 areas in the rest of the USA.

Outside of California, would you have thought that the Chicago (IL) region has the most spiders?

3) In addition to the well-known special series, the European CS1 Spider with 1800 cc was also a true exotic, which was only sold 778 times. The statistics show the distribution of the known 318 vehicles, which goes far beyond Europe.

Italy and Germany have the most European CS1 (1800) models.

More statistics will follow, next winter at the latest!

Best regards, Ralf
