Those hardtops were made by Pininfarina.

My limited knowledge of this is that a lot of the removable hardtops in the USA were manufactured in the USA, something about the Spiders being imported as 2-passenger convertibles.

Mine is the Catalina style, manufactured in Long Beach, CA by Custom Hardtops, 213-432-5454, I have no idea where that company is now.

Back in the 1970s and 1980s, the most common hardtop in the USA was the Baja style, which matched the shape of the convertible top, these were made both in the USA and in Italy by Pinin ...

This is the Catalina style: Image

And this is/was the Baja/pinin style: Image

Those were the factory optional hardtops that were made by Pininfarina.
They are quite rare nowdays but do come available occasionally for many dollars.

I have a Pininfarina hardtop that I'm going to be listing for sale in a few weeks. Does anyone here know if Pininfarina also sold tops in the aftermarket, and if those are measurably different from the factory optional ones? I'm trying to figure out exactly what I have. Thx

Hey - I do still have the top. The listing is on Mirafiori, but feel free to send me a PM if you'd like more details. It's stored indoors and in great condition.
