Fuel hose size help

Does anyone know the correct hose size for the fuel filler return hose. ?

I'm not sure I know exactly which hose you're referring to. The ones from the gas tanking sending unit to the metal lines up to the front of the car, or the "overflow" hose from the fuel filler neck back to the tank?

Its the overflow from the tank to the filler neck.

I happen to have an '81 spider in my workshop, and this hose measures 13/16" on the outside. It's probably a metric hose, but close enough. So, the inside would likely be 11/16", and since this isn't a common size, probably 5/8" ID.

I think this is one of those instances where you take the old hose to the auto parts store and ask for something to fit, making sure the new hose is fuel rated. These days, rated for fuel with ethanol.
