Register sub-target achieved: 10% of all Fiat 124 Spiders documented

Post by rdv »

Hello everyone
it's done: 10% of all Spiders built are documented in the worldwide Spider Register: Based on Pininfarina's production figures of 198,120 Spiders, exactly 19,812 Spiders are now documented!
Of course, this is not enough for us and we continue to collect data from previously unknown spiders. Support is always welcome!

This is the right time to compile some key facts:
- 19,812 documented spiders from 102 countries
- over 10,000 spiders listed with photo
- over 5,500 sales advertisements and almost 4,000 auctions documented
- New Top10 statistics with extended evaluations (see: https://www.fiatspider.de/filebrowser/download/4689 )

And here is some country-specific information based on the new evaluations:
- General: over 90% of all documented spiders are registered in the Top10 nations
- General: almost 5% of all documented spiders have an automatic transmission

It took us 26 years to achieve this result. What's next? We have our sights firmly set on the milestone of 20,000 vehicles, but realistically 30,000 vehicles should be possible.
Support us and report your Fiat 124 Spider. Updates, new pictures, vehicle sightings (with picture) are welcome!
