Do You Like This Forum?

Hello All,

This forum is a great conduit of information and transfer of knowledge that is unrivaled. What is it worth to you to be able to ask the most obscure Fiat question and suddenly get a myriad of results? I know I myself have undertaken a few projects purely based upon the info I received on this Forum.

However, this site isn't free. And it isn't a "for profit" site. It is a user sustained place that needs everyone to step up and contribute to ensure is continues.

So what is the info you get from here worth? For me, I gave $25. A pittance compare to what it would have cost me to try and forage online for info.

Please note...I have no affinity/connection to the folks that run this website. And I will not receive any benefit or payback. But I will say, if you are on this website and using the info...time to cough up $5 for the year.

I bought my 78 CS1 in October 2019, I had a few things to repair and the forum here helped me A LOT. Thank you so much guys, I have just donated.

Hello Folks,
First off, I want to sincerely thank all of you that have made donations to support this site. Thank you F16Waldo for the message that prompted this thread. As many of you long time members know, I don't like to beg for donations. Traditionally, I would post a prompt about once a year, usually in the first quarter just to remind everyone that the only reason I've been able to provide this site for the past 23 years is through donations.

Given the current situation with COVID-19 and the impacts on the economy in general, this year is going to be tough. Vick Auto stepped up a couple of years ago and offered to sponsor the site and that has helped, but that only covers about 1/4 of the cost. The rest depends on donations. This year, they let me know that they can’t afford to pay for sponsorship due to the current virus situation and impacts thereof. I totally understand, and since they’ve been such great supporters in the past, I offered to leave them on the site at no cost to them, agreeing that we will revisit the issue once this virus storm has passed. All of us need to be appreciative of Vick Auto's support and support them as well if the opportunity comes up. This leaves us as being completely donation supported in order to keep this site going.

So again, huge thank to all of you that have pitched in. If you have yet to do so, please consider donating what you can. Every little bit helps and we really need it now more than ever.

I love this forum. I just now sent a Paypal donation. I've been meaning to do it but this thread reminded me of how important this Forum is to me. At the moment I feel like more of a user but I expect after a few years of ownership I'll be able to contribute more useful information. I'd hate to see it go away.
