Axle nut crimp?

having some trouble crimping the axle nut on the front spindle. On my Honda I can do it with just a hammer and a screwdriver. But I've tried a that and a punch now too and I am more just cutting into it that denting it in. How do you guys do it?

With the special crimping tool or a cold chisel that has been dulled to a rounded edge instead of a cutting edge. I use the dulled cold chisel and a hammer myself.
