Initial quality defects

Post by spidernut »

I've been reading on some of the new 124 Spider forums - what quality defects have the new Fiat Spider owners experienced? How about the new 124 owners here? What are your experience thus far. The most common I've read seems to be the deck lid emblem coming off and ignition problems.

Have not had any problems so far. Miatas seem to have issues with the convertible tops, but the issues has not come up with Spiders.

It seems the driver's seat bolster in BJs car in Houston is starting to wear pretty quickly where you enter the car. He has a limited edition to boot.

Funny you mention that, i noticed considerable wear on the driver's seat bolster on the 124 specimen they used at the Montreal Auto show
