If you have any love for the Fiat marque, make sure you're there. We have 3 Fiat nutters coming over from New Zealand to join us for the festivities going on that weekend..If you can make it, what ever you do, do not miss out on the best annual Fiat gathering and racing event this side of the planet.

2014 will mark the 50th running of the Australian Fiat Nationals and for the first in time it will be held at the internationally renowned Sydney Motorsport Park (Eastern Creek), one of Australia's premier race tracks!

I hope to see most of the Aussie contingency on the forum here that weekend.

What an event! An autocross,rallycross,and a track day.I love that you guys really thrash the cars.Our conventions have evolved into more of a concourse event. I love it.I have always wanted to try a rallycross.
Do you know what type of data acquisition system David Nigro is using on his car? I will google AMA Vehicle Dynamics. That may be the best one I have ever seen.It has everything on one screen.Great video.Congratulations on a awesome event.

It's an awesome spectacle!

I am destined to spend about 5 days in Sydney (hotel in Coogee Beach.)

Any recommendations for classic car activities? Museums, shops, etc?

This is on or around the 25-29th of January. Too bad I missed the dates you posted above!

that weekend is Australia day weekend. here is the Sydney Site http://www.sydney.com/events/australia- ... vAodfRUAZw , there use to be a classic car show in the City on Australia day but at present I cannot find any reference to it??
There will be lots to do and Coogee is a nice spot, bring your sun screen.

I told you guys it was going to be good.

Thrash them cars we did ga.spyder and knowing you are into it you would have loved it to the maximum.

We had 3 fellow Fiat enthusiasts fly in from New Zealand for the weekend. Entrants towing trailers and competition cars from thousands of miles away from all around Australia is not uncommon.



Unfortunately I didn't enter the Spider this year as I have retired her from racing, Simply too pretty to bend.
Here is my 131 Superbrava 2L whom I passed the racing baton to since the Spider, custom headers, big valve head, mild/wild cam and guzzles the bang bang juice through a pair of sweet twin 45 webs. We just finished installing a full weld in roll cage and fiddled around with some suspension mods for this meeting.

Well that's enough on this singular car. The real champions of the weekend were all the Fiats.
