Chateau Montebello Sept 29th 2013

Event is 5 weeks away so I would need all of you to do all you can to get the invites out, get the buzz going so we can maximize the attendance and hopefully have a wonderful event in Montebello.

I was able to negotiate a rate of 50$ (tax and service included) for the Brunch at Montebello but no discount on the rooms. For those who want to stay overnight but prefer a less expensive option, here are other hotels nearby:

It would also be great if someone could go over there to look things over and see if the access is ok for our cars (especially the lower ones) and also see how many cars will fit. Max Del Pinto and myself will be going soon, I will email all of you to let you know when and if you'd like to join us.

Jerry Cucchiara from the Toronto Fiat Club will also be joining us and bringing members from his group so he's now been added to our email circle....welcome Jerry. Also on cc is Richard Buteau (the contact person at the Montebello) and Alain Levesque (the famous Canadian Automotive painter who will be having an exhibit that same weekend and helping us with our event)

The objective is to get at least 100 cars (I don't see a problem with that if each group averages a minimum of 12 cars)

I will also need you guys to call the Chateau a few days before and let them know how many from your group you will be so they can prepare the brunch area for us.

Lastly, each city should have a departure meeting point in the morning so we can have a common departure (even if we don't caravan once we hit the road)

Upon arrival at the Chateau Montebello, we will be permitted to park our vehicles on the lawn by the waterfront like a concours d'élégance, mingle and take wonderful pictures. Arrival time at Chateau Montebello should be between 11am-11:30am. At 1pm, we will all have brunch (at your expense) and then return to Ottawa mid-afternoon. Security for the cars will be provided by the Chateau during the meal.
There are no fees to participate besides the meal. Wives and family are welcome to join.
