Removal of flasher switch

i suspect my signal light s not flashing problem is a flasher switch issue.It gets stuck when you push it in.Have to pry it out so mabe the spring mechanism is gone causing an intermittentcy.
They signal lights were working but just stopped flashing. Could it be a bulb issue?

How do i remove the hazard switch, I read hundreds of posts without a clear answer to this question!
Can it be removed from the front or only pushing from the rear.
I was able to get the button front off and got it to pop in and out,but still does not flash
My 1984 Pininfarina has the square shape
