Heater Fan Grounding point? ('76)

Well I've replaced my heater core and valve, put it all back together and I don't recall where the fan motor wire grounds to. It would seem the under dash crossbar would be a logical place. Would this be a suitable grounding point? I will also want to ground my radio that has never been grounded. Will I get noise through the radio if I ground it at the same point as the fan motor(with it running?) Thanks, Dave

By the size of the ring terminal on the grounding wire, maybe this wire is grounds to the heater box mounting stud?

Liquid- The proper grounding point for your defrost/heater fan was as you therorized in your second post. The correct place for your ground is indeed the heater box mounting stud on the drivers side above your knee. Hope this clears it up for you and everyone else who didn't know. Take Care Buddy.
