A couple wiring questions...with pictures

The below image are the wires I marked as being removed from my old coil. I am installing Mark's coil and need some help. I seem to have different colors/one extra wire. I have to connect these to the RED wire and Purple wire on Mark's connector....which one where?


I marked this connector as going to the "lower block"? I am sure that mean't something to me a year ago? Ideas?


Finally I have this stray white wire? There is also a green wire with a male spade connector (no pictured) in the same area.


On a positive note, I hooked up power this evening and began troubleshooting....nothing smoked so far

The pink goes to positive, the brown to negative. It looks like a yellow wire was tapped into the brown one, so not sure what that's for. The one marked "lower block" goes to your temp/time switch tucked up under the intake manifold. The green wire goes to the O2 sensor in the exhaust pipe. The white wire has got to be a ground, but I don't see it on my car and not sure what it would be for. I seem to remember someone else having that wire question a year or two ago, not sure how it got answered.

Thanks to you also RRoller. Actually this was the first forum I found when I first got my car about five years ago and a lot of what I know I got from here. I just try to pass it on.
