Goofy signal problem

Post by garhett »

At first my front right signal stopped working, replaced the relay under the dash with one from store and then only had Back right flasher and Front left.

Ordered new flasher relay from online and I believe worked for a bit, now it's the same problem again (Only have Back Right and Front Left) Checked with multi-meter and had current, but lower than on the signals that did work.

Anyone ever had this problem? Fuses look good. Have a multi-meter and will try and check tomorrow to get exact readings for you.

Also Hazards do not work.

Thanks guys!

Check the quality of the ground connections on the ground pods located on the inside fender wells, and the hazard switch itself, as they are failure prone and most of this wiring passes through this switch. When my rear signals failed, it was due simply to a connector on the taillight housing coming loose by me moving things around in the trunk. Hopefully it will turn out to be something simple!

Thank you Roller, I am hoping its just a ground or the hazard switch itself. If we can't find a bad ground, I may just order another switch since they are so cheap and see if that corrects things.

The switch can be pretty easily tested, check out the wiring diagram at artigue.com and with a voltmeter you can be sure.
