WHat is the black box loc ated up behind the dash part made by VDO inGermany and part made by Veglia in Italy with an adjustment screw and the wireloom has R/Y, P/B, Gy/B, O/W and V/B wires with a red connector Chris

That's the counter for your O2 sensor warning. The screw isn't for adjusment, it screws out so you can stick in a toothpick or something to push on the reset button when your O2 light comes on, reminding you to change the sensor in the exhaust pipe. They're set to come on at 30,000 miles intervals.
