Cigar lighter illumination

Only light up when main light switch is off an illuminates when it's off. Key out! Checked the wiring audits the correct feed going to it!

Any ideas Fiat friends?

Make sure that the stereo isn't somehow patched into the light or power to the cigarette lighter wiring. If it is, undo the hack job and re-route the power for the stereo to the correct wires for the radio and repair the cigarette lighter wiring.
