Another what is it?

Post by JConnerly »

I was under the drivers side of the dash yesterday and just to the left of the steering column I noticed a round socket with two red wires running to it. It looks like something should plug into it. The opening is about the size of a dime. I will try tonight to get a picture of it.

Sounds like the socket for an inspection lamp. Anybody I know has only heard of one still in existence, owned by Ventura Ace. Here's a picture of it, with the socket in the lower left hand corner:

Is this what you're asking about?

I think you are talking about a plug in socket for a Fiat trouble light. Never seen one, just pictures.

Sure looks like it could be a plug for a trouble light. Were they an accessory?
