oil gauge in an 81 FI, 5 wires?

Post by whiterabbit »

Picked up a bottom swing oil gauge to replace the clock and I was looking at the connection, really? 5 wires? I have the directions for wiring from the Michigan fiat site but why does it tie into all the gauges?
Thanks all

I am not sure what your question is....

There are 5 wires including the light and its ground.
The gauge only needs +12V, ground, and the signal from the sender.
