Just a quick update on my restoration project: my '78 is now on the road having passed the stringent Out-Of-Province Inspection required to register an imported vehicle in Alberta. I found a local mechanic with extensive knowledge and a bit of Fiat experience who, for an embarrasingly small amount of money, was able to restore all electrical systems. So now that I was able to take the car on it's first test drive I can tackle all the mechanical issues that any 34 year old car would have. Let the fun continue!
