what the volts that are suppose to be on the 1438 engine,1969
i have a good alternator and relay and suppose to be a good voltage reg
i have 14.9 at idel and 15.6 and high rpms

is this right or wrong

You should have 13.8 to 14.1 at all rpm if the battery is not way low on charge.

Bad battery or bad regulator or bad wiring
What is voltage at battery terms, everything off?
