Right signal light

I've been having problems with the right signal light. Every light works perfectly but the right signal light doesn't. Whenever I put the (insert name of plank thing here) up, it makes the blinking noise but it's slower and doesn't work. When it's down to make the left turn, the blinking noise is faster. Anybody have any ideas to what could be causing my problem?

sounds like a simple bulb or socket issue. pull front and rear turn signal bulbs. check the filament. also look at the bulb socket and the point contact. would be worthwhile cleaning those with fine grit sandpaper. sometimes the point contact loses tension and needs to be pulled up. also turn on the signal and look very closely at the bulb for any light. if you are getting a really dim light, then you have a bad ground.
