Turn Signal indicator Lights in Speedo?

I fixed the wiring so now my arrow indicator light works in the speedometer when I switch the turn signals on. One question, do both arrow indicators flash regardless of if you put the left or right turn signals on? I only see one bulb behind it so I think thats the way it suppose to work, just making sure!

That's the way both my 81 and 74 work.
