Top frame removal
My plan is get new fresh paint over my Fiat. I will strip all badges ,handles and mouldings before painting. Any suggestion how to remove top frame ?. I belive it´s better take it off to avoid unneccesary paint over the top. Or any tips how can i paint my car without removing frame. Also can anybody tells how i can get side mouldings off ?.

Top frame.. above the rear seat is a black? strip with about 6 screws.. take that off.
Under that is a frame where the top is tucked and glued into, I think 5 screws and that comes off.
I think you have to remove the rear inside pockets/panels and behind there are two torx type screws on each side. undo these and the top can be removed. Best with two especially putting it back on after painting. There is a cable also that is clamped at the rear, two screws loosen the clamp and the cable comes out.
Good luck, about 15 minutes or so to do it.
