how do i get the bend out of my hood?

i have a 79 and when i bought the car the hood is bent on the drivers side frong from an accident, i took the hood off and tried to get into to bend it back out but the reinforcement makes it so I am unable to do this! Any thoughts?

Any photos? Not being sure what it looks like, a stud welder and slide hammer come to mind.

Here's some stud welders. Whenever you look to buy something. Always check ebay first. You can get the same item usually from the same company for over $100 off the price from their site. I bought a stretcher shrinker from Eastwood off ebay for $280 which lists for $400 from their site. What a difference. I was happy

Sorry to say that is going to take some special hammer and dollies and most important a skilled body man. You could find some hack to beat it out a bit and fill it with bondo but it wont last. Hot rod body shop guys or some good old school metal workers can fix just about anything.

Cheaper to find a new one I would think. I am struggling with the same issue in the same spot paid a fellow to fix it, cause I got impatient with my step brother, who is a top notch painter, who said the repair, which looked good to me, was very poor, and would be very noticeable when painted so I learned the hard way
