Greetings from Lancaster, PA

Hello Hello - I am Caleb from the Lancaster region of PA. In July I acquired a "mechanics special" 1980 Fiat Spider - Fuel Injected.
The alleged story is the owner started repairing a gasket on the valve covers and as he got into it his sons health declined and never got back to the car - that was 2012. I think the full story may be a little different as I've noticed some additional work that doesn't seem to add up... But its a project car so what can I expect!
I've since replaced the gaskets
Replaced water pump that was leaky
Changed Belts
Spark Plugs
Spark Wires
Cleared the fuel (varnish really)
Tested fuel pump

Hoping this week to try firing it again. Timing has me a little baffled based off of watching some YouTube videos and then what I am reading here so any insights would be greatly appreciated!

you're welcome! Sound like a real project, any pics for us the actual state?

Pennsylvania seems to be Spider land! The worldwide Spider Register actually counts 343 Spider, see here:
