The centre lower console on my ’83 Pininfarina Spider is cracked in several spots towards the rear the console. Replacement consoles for this year are hard to come by and the ones I found in Europe are crazy expensive. Not sure what the originals are made of. Has anyone had experience/success repairing cracks in the console? I’m assuming recovering requires a sound base I.e. no cracks.
