Hi y'all,

So far everybody has been of great help here, so thanks for that. Just wanted to share my progress that I've made in the last 18 months or so. I've been doing a full restoration (down until the last bolt) of my 1981 2000 FI. I've had it nearly 20 years now and ever since I got it, I wanted to do this restoration. Original color was Ivory White, but I decided to paint it Ferarri Corsa Rosso.

Nearly everything is either restored, or when a part was too far gone I've replaced it. All brake & fuel lines have been replaced (as you can see), new head- and taillights, fully restored rear axle, all rubbers, reaction arms, controls etc are replaced and everything so far has been relatively pain-free. The bodywork wasn't the best, but after a lot of love at the body shop she now looks brand new again.
The interior currently look like this:

Next steps are getting the pedal box installed and getting the heater box back in place. It's already kinda there, but I still need to install some of the insulating padding on top of the heater box.

After that, I'll install the engine and gearbox back in place! My aim is to have her on the road this summer.

So, couple months later and she's done!

I'm thinking about some upgrades later on like the ANSA exhaust, Abarth style bumpers and a programmable ignition, but that's all for next year. First a summer of driving around with my wife & kids and getting ice cream!
