Welcome, and I have a '69 spider that's been in the family since new, so ask me any questions. The only thing I don't remember much about is the water pump-driven engine cooling fan, as that was removed very early on and replaced with an electric fan.

Hi and welcome!
Is this a first series (AS) Spider from 1969? .. with the round side marker lights? These have become really rare!
I have an European 1969 AS Spider. This forum is great, you will get your answers for sure!

Is your 69 Spider already listed in the worldwide Spider Register? There are just 3 69 Spider listed in NY, see here:
