Missing interior panel under steering wheel?

Since I've had my '75, I've felt like the area under around the steering column is quite "naked". Wires are exposed, etc.

Should there be a panel covering the space around the steering column? I do have the two plastic clam-shell pieces around the ignition switch and wheel.

Do anyone have any photos?

Parts for sale?

Thanks

No, unfortunately not. The only covers are the two half clamshells that you mention, the cover for the fuse box, and a rubber boot that surrounds the wires coming out of the back of the ignition switch.

Makes it easier to jiggle wires when things don't work right, just as Fiat intended! :D

Bryan, I guess the "jiggling wires" "feature" is nice to have... I've used it myself more than once.

I suppose I need to dress my wires a little nicer now. No hiding them behind a panel.

Thanks for the info!

Perhaps some creative person will come up with a black opaque "mesh screen" of sorts that is held in place at each corner with snaps, to hide the wires? Stuart, might that creative person be you? :D
