Most of that money is for the structural and other changes required for the EV conversion however they could have done a much better job on the upholstery. I re-upholstered and hand stitched my door panels and even the one I did first (practiced on) came out better than the one shown in their picture displayed to showcase their level of craftsmanship.

I really like that hood too, and wish they would offer some of their bits for sale, but at the same time I understand why they do not.

The door card stitching is surprising to me. I’ve seen photos of a few of their builds and thought the quality always looked really good. This is the only example I’ve seen that isn’t top notch.

I hope they’re profitable. From my perspective what they do would be a dream job/business to own. Designing and retro modifying Spiders all day, every day... yes please. Regardless of how I feel about their prices I’m impressed by what they’ve been able to build for themselves.
