Good friends bring home the gold!!

Post by Ramzi »

Local boys make good... Best Fiat 124's in Australia.

I just got off the phone with good friend Nat Belluomini - He took 1st place his gorgeous Sport Coupe and Michael Polito took 1st place with his ground up restoration 124 Spider at Auto Italia In Canberra...

This is the highest honor possible in all of Australia - These guys literally have the nicest 124's in the entire country!

Good on ya boys!!

Congratulations! Word's out that Mick drove 16 hours one way to attend this show. If he did this with his Spider it has alot to say about the reliability of his new build.

Congrats!

Hey, Ari, aren't you going to be driving 14 1/4 hours to get to Milwaukee? Throw in breakfast, lunch and gas stops and we'll hit sixteen hours.

Congratulations. I believe there is something very special about people who restore Fiats to this level for the joy of driving them. Wonderful photo of the setting the men and their cars.
Thanks for the post

Thanks guys.

Just to clarify.. my spider was trailered to the show as it was only registered the day before and did not have enough test miles. Had a very tight timeline to get the car from Queensland to Canberra (over 1196 kilometres (743miles)

Having said this, I have no doubt she would have driven the distance with no issues.

The road trip took 37 hours due to major flooding on highways from a cyclone.

Special thanks to Autoricambi (Csaba and Ramzi) for your support.

That is one beautiful car - I love everything from it's awesome wheels to the clear signal lenses to the superb paint roof, etc.

I won't go on in case my own car is listening and gets jealous. :)

Congrats again and I'm glad to hear it's driven distances. These cars are meant to go, go, go. :)

Cheers,
