Major problem located

Post by fiat218 »

I seen that on this 69. We got shock tower problems. Is it even worth fixing when is happens. I know the passander side trailing arm has a problem where it attach to the body frame
I have a feeling there more :) and well I'm not sure what I should do

I think the white yellow is bondo. But right below that I hit it with a hammer and there is a rust hold. The photo is on a angle

Jim, you won't know what your dealing with untill you remove the top coatings down to bare metal. Full face shield gloves and a heavy duty side grinder with a heavy gauge wire wheel. When the coatings are removed take some photos and post them, it might not be as bad as you think. I know there are forum members who can point you in the right direction.

The very first spider I went to look at was located 3 hrs. away and the craigslist add stated it was "rust free". When the lady removed the car cover there were rust blisters everywhere. I think the add should have read "rust is free".
