Hi,
I am in the process of building a custom dash and would like to move the fan motor switch using and aftermarket LED switch. I have searched the forums but was not able to find a description on the switch type used by Fiat. Can anyone tell me if this is a spst, spdt, dpdt or some other switch type.
Another project is to separate the headlights from the running/parking lights switch. Mine all come on together. Anyone have an easy explanation or diagram on how to accomplish this.
Thank you all in advance.....
John

Re: Fan motor switch replacement???
You will need a single pole double throw (SPDT) On-On switch.

Some will refer to it as an three position on/off/on switch. An on/on switch will not have a central off position. Take the old switch with you as a reminder when shopping for a replacement that its a three position switch.

DieselSpider is correct, I forgot to include the middle off position.

Thanks guys....
Switch ordered.
I'll be posting pics when the dash is complete. Re-engineering the defroster system right now and waiting for other parts.
