Really excited to making this post, as I've been looking for a Spider for quite some time, but well, fell in love with a local seller's car (always helpful when you can talk to them after the fact too).

Good chunk of the mechanical has been done already, which, since this is my first time doing any type of restoration, I really wanted something that was already drivable to work on. I've already started a spreadsheet on what needs replacing, although I'll definitely be asking tons of questions here.

Backstory: My dad's first spider was a 62, but well... I don't have the funds for one from the 60's, as gorgeous as they are. He loved his, drove it from Los Angeles up through Canada in back. When I can find them, I'll be posting photos of his. He passed three years back from cancer, and I'm fulfilling our dream of restoring a car with my husband. I know he's cheering me on though.
