Help! Parts, Bushings Ect...

Post by Spider112515 »

Okay so i've got this little gem running great. Rebuilt the carburator and replaced the cracked distributor cap and broken rotor as well as the original accelerator cable-still sticks a bit keeping the idle higher than desired. Here's the next issue:

Control arm and sway bar bushings need to be replaced so I've been looking around and asking questions. I've found bushings but I'm being told that many of the replacement bushings are garbage and wear out very quickly or have fitment problems ect. Can anyone give me a good source for these parts. I have a number of online suppliers but no idea who has the best or worst parts. Thank you all in advance for sharing!

I "heard" the urethane bushings do get noisy after a while but the rubber ones are cheaper and closer to stock. I really don't want noise and I do want longevity. The noise will keep me wondering if something is wrong. Help.
