Badge Reattachment

I am looking for specs for attaching the hood / trunk round emblems. My recent
Paint work eliminated any reference points.
Also, the side Pinninfarina labels need to be relocated.
I could find another Spider and take measurements.(bad time of year to be looking for a Fiat)
Thanks,
Harvey

The front and rear emblems sit in small indentations. Did the shop simply bondo those over? I don't think the emblems would look right if you mounted them. They would seem to pop out. Maybe demand the shop do the trunk and hood over and get it right.

The side Pinifarina emblem have 2 legs that go thru the rubber base. You may be able to rescue those exact locations by removing the interior rear panel and look for bondo pushed thru the original holes. Otherwise, break off the legs and epoxy the emblems in the approximate locations.

early hoods had no emblem. As others have said, there should be a recess for the badges. The recess should be visible from the underside of the lids.
